“Our Rights” campaign The National campaign to establish the political rights of persons with disabilities in Lebanon
Subject: Press Conference
Time: Tuesday June 2nd 2009 at 11:00 am.
Location: Ecumenical Disability Advocates Network – St. Antoine Center, Bloc B, 3rd floor, Gouraud Street, Gemmayzeh, Rmeil.
Our Rights Campaign - which was implemented by the alliance of the Lebanese Physical Handicapped Union and the Youth Association for the Blind in 2005 and ongoing until the implementation of these rights – would like to invite you to attend a press conference on Tuesday June 2nd 2009 – 11:00 am at the Ecumenical Disability Advocates Network’s center – Gemmayzeh.
The campaign aims, through this conference, to announce its position on the candidates, blocs and parties’ programs for the upcoming parliamentary elections and their approach towards disability issues. The conference will also address the elections observation process in which LPHU is a major participant.
